Crowe in blazing row with wife
November 12, 2005

Russell Crowe was spotted having a blazing row with wife Danielle in a swanky London nightspot.

The hot-headed star - who earlier this year was charged with assaulting a New York hotel worker - was reportedly seen arguing with blonde Danielle at the plush Wolseley restaurant.

A source revealed: "Russ and Danielle were having dinner at the Wolseley with director Ridley Scott. They are all good friends and it started off in a very civilised fashion and everyone seemed to be having a good time, laughing and enjoying the fine food.

"He got through a few aperitifs, as well as a few glasses of wine during the meal."

Onlookers then saw the pair - who have a two-year-old son - start rowing.

The insider is quoted by Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper as saying: "The row was pretty intense and at one stage both Russell and Danielle stood up - they seemed to be having a stand-off before Danielle stormed into the toilets."

"Tensions were running very high and it was ten minutes or so before Danielle re-joined Russell and the others. The mood didn't look to have improved and the pair left shortly afterwards in stony silence."
