Survivor fans should not be surprised if they bump into Survivor Panama winner Aras Baskauskas in Cape Town next week, because the top model will be in the city to work for a local modelling agency.
Baskauskas will be in Cape Town for a few weeks on a modelling stint with Boss Models and Management.
South Africans watched as Baskauskas, 24, a yoga instructor and model from California, was announced the sole survivor on last night's recorded screening of the finale in Panama.
Baskauskas became the latest winner of the popular reality series on May 14 last year and walked away with $1-million (about R7,2-million) after beating his fellow contestant, 24-year-old Danielle DiLorenzo, with a five to two vote
.
He told CBS News last year that his "honesty and integrity" had won over the members of the tribal jury.
He has previously lived in Cape Town where he opened a donation-based yoga studio.
Not only does he possess the brawn, he has the brains too.
He completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy as well as a Masters in Business Administration.
He is also a former professional basketball player, and teaches yoga in California.
Baskauskas has invested his Survivor winnings in Tundra Gear, a company that manufactures winter hats.
