Dance superstars and magical fantasy

Anyone missing the best show on the box the American series, So You Think You Can Dance? has something special to look forward to on M-Net at 5pm on Sunday, when the pay channel launches Superstars Of Dance.
This show is described as a a foot-stomping dance
competition in which masters of dance genres from eight
different countries show off their skills. The countries featured are South Africa, India, the United States, Argentina, China, Russia and Australia.
Each team comprises two soloists, a duo and a larger
group, all representing their country's dance forms. Lord of the Dance star Michael Flatley and Susie Castillo are co-hosts of the show, which is produced by Simon Fuller and Nigel Lythgoe, the men who brought us American Idol and So You Think You Can Dance?.
Also new on M-Net this weekend is Legend of the Seeker, which starts at 7pm on Saturday. Based on Terry Goodkind's bestselling series of fantasy novels, The Sword of Truth, Legend of the Seeker follows woodsman Richard Cypher as he transforms from a woods guide to a magical leader, with a task to stop a vicious tyrant.
This spectacular series was made by Sam Raimi,
director of the Spider-Man films on a budget of $1,5-million (about R12-million) per episode. The series follows the epic journey of a young woods guide named Richard Cypher (played by Craig Horner), a mysterious woman named Kahlan Amnell (Bridget Regan) and a wizard named Zeddicus Zul Zorander (played by Bruce Spence) out to stop Darken Rahl (Craig Parker) from
unleashing an ancient and terrifying power.
