ER star Goran Visnjic is reportedly being considered to star as James Bond.
The handsome actor - who plays Dr Luka Lovac in the hit medical drama - is said to be attending his first screen test for the role of the suave spy in London next week.
The 21st James Bond movie, 'Casino Royale', is scheduled to start shooting early next year.
A number of actors have been lined up for the role including Clive Owen, Orlando Bloom, Colin Farrell and Daniel Craig.
Last month, it was revealed Pierce Brosnan could return as James Bond - despite saying he had quit the much-coveted role
.
The screen heartthrob - who has played 007 on four occasions - was allegedly wanted by film bosses to reprise the role.
A source told website Darkhorizons.com: "All the stuff we heard about Brosnan being out is just a ploy from both camps."
Meanwhile, Colin Farrell has claimed he is not interested in playing Bond and laughed off claims Brosnan had suggested him for the part.He said: "I'm not interested - not at all." - Bang Showbiz
