Slickly produced and very carefully edited, This Is It clearly shows that Michael Jackson’s last concerts would have been AMAZING.
Directed by long time collaborator and stage director Kenny Ortega, this documentary has been put together to give you a glimpse of how the concerts would’ve progressed.
It concentrates on Jackson, following his every move as he rehearsed for the O2 Arena concerts in London. Not only did he keep up with the dancers half his age, but he outshone them.
All Jackson had to do was move his head or flick a wrist and the audience is mesmerised.
In addition to Jackson rehearsing we also see how the elaborate sets start to shape up around the dancers and musicians and some of the new material recorded for the videos that would've played simultaneously with the performances.
