Evangeline wants to be the next Angelina
May 27, 2009

Evangeline Lilly wants to be Angelina Jolie.

The Lost star - who is known for keeping her personal life private - is in awe of the Changeling actress because of her selfless commitment to her humanitarian work and devotion to charity projects.

She said: "I'd love to be Angelina Jolie, but just the humanitarian side."

The 29-year-old TV star is also jealous of how Angelina - who raises six children with Brad Pitt - maintains an air of mystery and secrecy, despite the massive interest in her private life.

She told Women's Health magazine: "No one knows that woman. She's a complete ice queen, which is perfect. Why should she be anymore? She doesn't owe us anything."

Despite being one of the main stars of Lost, the Canadian beauty - who has dated her co-star Dominic Monaghan since 2004 - is still not living her "ultimate dream".

She said: "Right now, I'm happy doing a job that's not my ultimate dream. Even if you're unhappy, just pretend that you're happy! Eventually, your smile will be contagious to yourself. I had to learn that. I used to think, 'I'm being fake.' But you know what? Better to be fake and happy than real and miserable." - BANG Media International
